PAN Manager Software by Egenera® completed a rigorous verification process to ensure compatibility with Citrix XenServer®, providing customers confidence in joint solution compatibility. The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix.
The Egenera architecture -- one of the first converged infrastructure systems to be part of the Citrix Ready program -- is based on standard server, Ethernet, switch and storage arrays. When used with Citrix virtualization products, Egenera software provides an open alternative to other more tightly-integrated unified computing and converged infrastructure products, turning ordinary x86 blades, standard Ethernet and standard SANs into a simplified converged infrastructure system.
