Electro Energy Inc. Selected to Present at Leading Clean Energy Technology Conference in Middle East

MANAMA, BAHRAIN and DANBURY, CT--(Marketwire - May 29, 2007) - Electro Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: EEEI), a leading provider of advanced battery technologies and associated systems, announced today that Michael E. Reed, CEO of Electro Energy, has been selected to present on May 30, 2007 at CleanBusiness2007 in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The event will take place from May 29-31st at the Moevenpick Hotel. The event is organized by Energative (USA) in cooperation with the International Solar Energy Society - Arabic Section (Bahrain). It is the first event in the Middle East that is dedicated solely to connecting worldwide companies involved in clean technology with regional investment groups, entrepreneurs, environmental businesses, major developers, and governmental officials.

The event will feature representatives from 14 leading international clean energy companies from North America and Europe that are involved in technologies such as water and waste treatment technologies, renewable energy, alternative fuels, carbon trading and emission control, energy saving technologies, Carbon Development Mechanisms, Green Buildings, and other clean and green technologies. It will include panel discussions, networking sessions and investors from the Middle East and other countries.
