Elektra's latest signing, Laza Morgan, makes his solo debut with "This Girl." It's also the first single from the soundtrack companion to summer's upcoming film, "Step Up 3D." The son of reggae legend Denroy Morgan, and former member of LMS, MCA/Universal's popular Jamaican group, Laza now concentrates on his own distinctive 'Sing-J' sound that mixes hip-hop, dancehall, and roots reggae influences. Laza's as-yet-untitled debut album is to be released later this year. Meanwhile, "This Girl" arrives at all DSPs on April 27th.

On May 11th, Elektra will unleash "IT'S BETTER IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND," the debut EP from Bruno Mars. Best known as one-half of the red hot production duo The Smeezingtons (Flo Rida, Cobra Starship), the Hawaiian-born singer/songwriter/producer recently stepped up to the mic with soulful vocal turns on two recent Smeezingtons-penned and produced hits, "Billionaire," from Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy and B.o.B's breakthrough pop smash, "Nothin' On You." Mars is now hard at work recording his as-yet-untitled debut album, slated to drop later this year. For more, please visit:

Next, Elektra is proud to announce the May 11th release of "Georgia," the long awaited new solo single from the one and only Cee Lo Green. Known far and wide as one half of Grammy Award-winning superstar duo Gnarls Barkley, the endlessly inventive singer/writer/rapper/producer is now in the studio putting finishing touches on his forthcoming new album, entitled "LADY KILLER." Due later this year, the collection -- Green's first solo work in more than five years -- sees Cee Lo continuing to push hip-hop and soul's creative envelope, this time working with a star-studded cast of producers that includes Salaam Remi (Nas, Amy Winehouse), Jack Splash (Alicia Keys, Missy Elliot, Jamie Foxx), and Fraser T. Smith (Nelly Furtado, James Morrison, Ellie Goulding). For further information, please visit:

May 25th will see the Elektra release of "TRUE BLOOD - MUSIC FROM THE HBO ORIGINAL SERIES VOLUME II." The album follows last year's Grammy Award nominated "TRUE BLOOD - MUSIC FROM THE HBO ORIGINAL SERIES," which featured tracks from the acclaimed HBO drama's first season, including the sultry theme song, "Bad Things" performed by Jace Everett. The hugely anticipated third season of "True Blood" is slated to premiere on HBO on June 13th, while True Blood: The Complete Second Season will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 25th.

As if all that weren't enough, "MCs CAN KISS," the new digital EP from Ed Banger Records/Because Music/Elektra recording artist Uffie was released on April 6th. After creating an underground stir with last year's "Pop The Glock," the American-born, Paris-based electro rapper/songwriter recently wowed full houses in New York, Los Angeles, and SXSW with her unique melding of heavy beats, sharp rhymes, and synthpop hooks. Produced by French electronica legend Mr. Oizo, "MCs Can Kiss" heralds the upcoming release of Uffie's much anticipated debut album, "SEX DREAMS AND DENIM JEANS," which arrives in stores and at all online retailers on June 8th. What's more, the EP includes an exclusive "MCs Can Kiss" remix by none other than The Beastie Boys' Mike D, while a new video for the upcoming single, "ADD SUV," featuring Pharrell Williams, is currently in production in Los Angeles. For up-to-the-minute news and information, please visit:
