Elephant Talk & 2NR Announce Plan to Turn in Your Old Unused Mobile Phone to Help the People of Haiti

Elephant Talk and 2NR's Service Offerings Make Keeping Old Mobile Phones as Your 2nd Handset Unnecessary

SCHIPHOL, THE NETHERLANDS--(Marketwire - January 28, 2010) - Elephant Talk Communications, Inc. (OTCBB: ETAK), an international telecom and multimedia content distributor specializing in carrier grade mobile enabling platforms, today announced in conjunction with 2NR, a division of TeleCombination International BV, the opportunity to turn in your old mobile telephone and help the earthquake victims in Haiti. Elephant Talk and 2NR will work with Zonzoo Group plc to sell the used mobile phones and use the proceeds to benefit Haiti.

In addition to assisting with the recovery of Haiti by turning in your phones and allowing the devices to be sold, consumers will also directly be helping the environment by recycling old mobile phones and giving them a second life. Everybody who donates his or her old mobile device will apply for the special offering to get a second telephone number for free for a certain amount of time with no obligation and a discounted price plan from 2NR. By utilizing Elephant Talk's best in class platform, 2NR has the ability to offer two mobile numbers on a single SIM card which allows for all mobile services to be available on one SIM card without having multiple handsets. This product allows people to turn in one of their handsets based on the ability to now have two phone numbers associated with a single mobile device.

Mr. Steven van der Velden, CEO of Elephant Talk commented, "We think this is a great way to provide relief to the earthquake victims of Haiti. Based on our dynamic product offering, people no longer need two telephones in order to have two numbers, thus we joined forces with 2NR and Zonzoo to assist in providing donations for the people of Haiti. Elephant Talk is pleased that through the allocation of part of the revenues generated by these new 2NR subscribers donations will be made for the Haiti recovery program. With the use of our advanced platform of mobile technology, we have the ability to support people in need."
