Eloqua Expands to Germany

Country Serves as Headquarters for Central European Operations

VIENNA, VA--(Marketwire - August 23, 2010) -  Eloqua, the leader in marketing automation solutions that dramatically accelerate revenue growth, today announced it has expanded its European presence to Germany. The company, which recently passed the 50,000 user milestone, now operates in 16 European countries and 38 countries around the world. Germany will serve as Eloqua's Central European Headquarters.

This news closely follows the sell-out of Eloqua Experience Europe, the company's first international user group meeting, which drew more than 120 of Europe's preeminent marketers. The company also boasts nearly 3,500 active users throughout Europe.

According to Bijan Bidroud, VP of EMEA for Eloqua, "This is an extraordinary time for marketing automation in Europe. Strategic marketers see demand generation solutions as opportunities to not only generate revenue, but also track the growth back to marketing."

Eloqua's newly established German office is led by Guenter Sandmann, Eloqua Director Central Europe. Sandmann is presently responsible for leading the business development efforts in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. "Marketing automation is a key differentiator for Central European marketers," said Sandmann. "The technology is proven enough to be trusted by marketing departments, but we are also early enough in the adoption curve that marketers can leverage these tools to create a sizable competitive advantage."

Eloqua has operated in EMEA for five years, and in that time, it has attracted major clients across a wide array of industries. Eloqua's German clients include Messe Munchen, Mettler Toledo and Software AG, in addition to more than 150 other category leaders, such as Reed Elsevier and Schroders, throughout Europe.
