Email Service Provider SKYLIST's VP of Marketing Named Finalist in Austin Business Journal "Profiles in Power" Awards

Lana McGilvray Honored Among Central Texas Female Executives for Business Accomplishment and Community Involvement

AUSTIN, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 17, 2005 -- Today, SKYLIST, an email service provider and deliverability leader, announced that VP of Marketing Lana McGilvray was named one of the finalists for the Austin Business Journal "Profiles in Power" Awards at the 11th annual awards luncheon and leadership seminar on August 4th. The Profiles in Power awards recognizes the career and community accomplishments of female executives in central Texas.

To define the elite set of 2005 Profiles in Power honorees, a panel of judges evaluated over 50 candidates who were nominated by their peers in the business community. The judges followed a five-point grading system that evaluated each nominee's career advancement, company success, business leadership and community involvement. The point system produced 25 finalists, from which the judges confirmed five choices for the 2005 awards.

At SKYLIST, Lana is responsible for ensuring the company's marketing programs achieve corporate growth benchmarks. She was promoted to vice president after outpacing annual sales and marketing goals for two consistent fiscal years. Working with a national client base that includes the Boston Globe (, the Ad Council and NASDAQ-traded online leaders including eDiets and Spark Networks, Lana has led her company through remarkable growth and branding. She also oversees internal/external public relations, advertising initiatives and partnership sales channels. Under her watch, SKYLIST stays on the cutting edge of email marketing.

In addition, she is actively involved in the Austin community through her work with non-profits and her work in the arts. Lana's list of community service includes work with the Save Our Springs Alliance, Tsunami Relief fund and NPR Public Radio. Lana also does her part to help the children of Austin, donating time and effort to UNICEF, the Sunshine Kids Caps and the Mainspring Schools.
