Embassy of Sweden and Council on Competitiveness to Co-Host Innovation Seminar

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - January 8, 2008) - Public and private sector leaders, from both the United States and Sweden, will convene on January 9th to discuss innovation as a competitive advantage in the global economy. The Leadership Through Innovation seminar, co-hosted by the U.S. Council on Competitiveness and the Embassy of Sweden, will provide industry and policy insight about the challenges and opportunities in the rapidly emerging, high-value, innovation-driven economy.

Speakers include Ewa Björling, Sweden's Minister for Trade, Ministry for Foreign Affairs; H.E.
