Enbridge Income Fund Announces Changes to Board of Trustees

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - June 5, 2006) - Enbridge Income Fund (TSX:ENF.UN) today announced changes to the Board of Trustees of Enbridge Commercial Trust, the entity that conducts the affairs of Enbridge Income Fund.

Effective June 1, 2006, two new trustees joined the Board: Kay Best, Executive Vice-President, Risk Management and Chief Financial Officer for the Calgary Health Region, and David Robottom, Enbridge Inc.'s new Group Vice President, Corporate Law.

Two other trustees will be leaving the Board: Patrick Daniel, Enbridge Inc. President & Chief Executive Officer, will be leaving the Board on June 30, 2006, and Wesley Twiss, the current Chair of the Fund's Audit Committee, will be leaving the Board on July 15, 2006.

Ms. Best will become a member of the Audit Committee, and she will assume the Chair of the committee on July 1. The timing of the changes provides a transition period for the departing Board members to assist the incoming members.

In her current capacity with the Calgary Health Region, Ms. Best is responsible for all financial functions, plus risk management, legal and information and privacy services, and business development. Prior to joining the Calgary Health Region, Ms. Best, who is a chartered accountant, spent 19 years with Ernst & Young, the last 10 as Corporate Audit Partner.

Mr. Robottom has extensive legal experience, particularly in the commercial area. He also has in-depth management experience, having been the National Managing Partner of Fraser Milner Casgrain. Immediately prior to joining Enbridge he was a senior partner with Stikeman Elliott.

Enbridge Income Fund's ordinary units are listed and trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "ENF.UN".
