EnerTeck Corporation Announces the Beginning of a Major Performance Demonstration for the Railroad Industry

STAFFORD, TX--(Marketwire - December 2, 2008) - EnerTeck Corporation (OTCBB: ETCK) (the "Company") announced today that, commencing December 15, 2008, its wholly owned subsidiary, EnerTeck Chemical Corp. ("ECC"), working jointly with a major American Class 1 railroad company, will initiate a performance demonstration of the fuel savings, environmental and other benefits of the utilization of its principal product, EnerBurn®, for the railroad industry.

ECC and the client railroad will be utilizing verifiable proprietary testing protocols, developed by ECC, designed specifically to measure levels of performance for diesel engines used in the railroad industry. These tests will be administered and monitored by the respected independent testing company, Janelle Engineering of Punta Gorda, Florida. Detailed data from the tests will be compiled by ECC, Janelle and the railroad company, regarding fuel efficiency and emissions levels of the tested engines under controlled conditions, and then compared to base line data compiled under similar conditions prior to the introduction of EnerBurn®. This independently gathered data will then be analyzed by ECC and the railroad. ECC anticipates the results will confirm the projected 8-15% improvement in fuel economy, as well as demonstrating significant improvement in emissions levels. ECC is currently supplying one smaller railroad firm client and is confident that the results of this demonstration will facilitate a large expansion of the use of EnerBurn® within the railroad market.

Dwaine Reese, ECC's CEO, stated, "We know EnerBurn® reduces diesel fuel consumption, lengthens engine life and improves emissions. The rail industry is an ideal application of this technology. We have years of independent test results confirming that EnerBurn® works effectively on all types of diesel engines. We believe our analytical methods remove any doubt relative to EnerBurn's® effectiveness under real world operating conditions." Mr. Reese further added, "Our recent sales efforts and our willingness to prove EnerBurn's® effectiveness has resulted in a significant number of new prospects from many industries both in the U.S. and abroad who have expressed an interest in using EnerBurn®."
