BARCELONA, SPAIN and HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - June 23, 2010) - Energistics, the upstream oil and gas industry open standards consortium, announced today that its Board of Directors has named Jerry Hubbard, as the organization's Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Hubbard has held the position of Executive Vice President of Business Development since 2006 and has played a large role in the organization's successful rebrand which resulted in significant growth. The Board previously appointed Mr. Hubbard corporate Treasurer in 2008. This announcement was made at the Board's mid-year meeting in Barcelona, Spain.

Mr. Hubbard will now be responsible for operations, financial management, human resources, marketing and communications for the 20-year-old upstream E&P standards organization.
He will continue to be responsible for delivering the global adoption message for Energistics' open standards portfolio, for increasing Energistics membership value and for building the global Energistics user community. In addition, Mr. Hubbard serves as the Energistics Executive Sponsor for the National Data Repository Work Group under the Regulatory Special Interest Group.
