Even Technologies Integrates Video Streaming Platform Into Live Encoder Delivering Full Screen Video From Hawaii to the World

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 6, 2007) - Even Technologies Inc. ("Even Technologies" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ETI), the world leader in IPTV and streaming video technology, has released the industry's answer to encoding live events for IP broadcast. As a part of several ongoing deployments in the U.S., a telephone company is successfully streaming live, full-screen broadcasts from their headend in Hawaii to viewers in London, Beijing, Atlanta, Vladivostok, Johannesburg, Melbourne, Delhi and New York. Even Technologies is pleased to partner with these early adopters to announce the release of this long awaited product to the streaming media industry.

To allow access to global mass audiences, the dme™ 700P uses the Company's advanced compression technology to encode video at one-third the bitrates required by H.264, MPEG-4 and Windows Media 9. The dme™ 700P also features advanced streaming capabilities for delivering live and on-demand events over the Internet.

In addition to the streaming server functions included in the new encoder, Even Technologies has invented an innovative delivery system that offers unparalleled quality and reliability for broadcasting live events on the Internet. Regardless of their location, viewers are experiencing broadcast television on their PC's because of new progressive delivery solutions available exclusively from Even Technologies. This new technology substantially reduces delivery costs for live events. The dme™ 700P allows content providers to leverage home broadband connections to offer full-screen, broadcast quality video at peak bitrates of 490kbps and average bitrates of 450kbps.

The dme™ 700P is ideal for any streaming video application, including movies on demand, pay per view sports and concerts, business applications, local community content, distance learning and closed network TV. The Progressive Live Encoder is the newest complement to the Company's line of solutions for streaming to the cell phone, TV and PC. The immediate opportunities for deployment of this technology will assert the Company as the leader in internet broadcasting of live events.
