The inaugural World Vendor Awards is the first of its kind, focusing purely on the vendors who supply software and services to the telecoms industry worldwide. Judges lead by representatives of Total Telecom magazine and PricewaterhouseCoopers short-listed 32 leading telecom vendors in eight categories, including Outstanding Vendor of the Year, the Clean Technology Initiative, and Technology Foresight. The awards received more than 100 nominations with the winners to be announced at a black tie dinner in London on May 5, 2010.
