ExactTarget Adds Depth to Executive Team With Appointments to CMO and VP of Client Services Positions

Marketing Veterans Support ExactTarget in Company's Next Phase of Growth

INDIANAPOLIS, IN--(Marketwire - January 8, 2008) - ExactTarget, the leading provider of on-demand, email and one-to-one marketing solutions, today announced the appointment of Tim Kopp to Chief Marketing Officer and Doug Hooton to Vice President of Client Services. Kopp is responsible for all aspects of ExactTarget's marketing program including strategy, corporate marketing and product marketing. Hooton will focus on helping clients achieve their business objectives by leveraging ExactTarget's software, services and solutions to meet each organization's marketing needs.

Kopp most recently was the Chief Marketing Officer for WebTrends where he led the company's brand strategy for its new product platform. Before joining WebTrends, Kopp was Vice President, Worldwide Interactive Marketing for the Coca-Cola Company. Previously, he was a founding member of Procter and Gamble's Interactive Marketing organization and managed the beauty care division, which had approximately $17 billion in annual sales.

Hooton brings a strong operations background with significant expertise in customer focus strategy and deployment to ExactTarget, where he'll lead services teams responsible for implementation, systems integration, strategic account management, solutions optimization, and client service and support. Previously, Hooton was Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts with Walker Information, the leader in customer and employee loyalty management, where he was responsible for developing and delivering customer strategies for global organizations.
