FLIR Systems Announces $17.4 Million Delivery Order From the U.S. Army

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - November 7, 2007) - FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ : FLIR ) announced
today that it has been awarded a $17.4 million delivery order from the U.S.
Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Alabama for its
THV-3000 Long Range Imager System. The units delivered under this order
will support ongoing U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps programs. This order
was made pursuant to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite
quantity contract. Work on the delivery order will begin immediately and
be performed in FLIR's Danderyd, Sweden production facility.
