Far Vista Interactive (OTCBB: FVSTA): Announces New Board Member

SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - April 5, 2010) -  Far Vista Interactive (OTCBB: FVSTA), a leading video game company in Saskatchewan, today announced the appointment of Mr. Paul Zhang Xie, as a Director to assist with the company's on-going developments in China. Previously acting as a consultant for Far Vista Interactive, Paul was instrumental in getting contacts with Chinese game companies like 9wee, Shanda Games, Giant, The Nine, and Perfect World. He has now decided to come on the board as we enter China's exciting market.

Paul was born and raised in Shanghai and studied International Trade at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and then later International Finance at the East China Normal University. As two of the better Universities in China, Paul's network of school mates is impressive, as many have risen to the peak of industry or within Government and business.

Upon graduating in 1992, Paul started working with the China Export Bases Development Shanghai Corp as its Manager responsible for the Company's import and export business. In this position he was able to make a marked impact on the growth and direction of the State owned company.

In 1999 Paul moved to Shanghai Sinofound Import & Export Co., Ltd, taking over the responsibilities for international trade, consulting, and investment issues. In this position he was able to diversify into other areas of interest and business, specifically the import side.

Paul has travelled extensively in Europe, North America and Asia, providing him a more global perspective of business while also maintaining strong personal and business ties within China. These ties include private business, large corporations as well as various aspects of both local and national Government.

Paul is an avid "gamer," enjoying the 1st Person Shooter genre as well as several casual games. He is also well versed in the game industry within China and Asia thus providing Far Vista with future knowledge and contacts within this industry. Combined with his language skills, fluent in English, Chinese, Japanese, and French, Paul is a great addition to the Board of Directors.

Besides being a member of the Board of Directors for Far Vista Interactive Paul is also a Board member of Cansino International (Canada) and a full Party Member in good standing.
