FargoTube Offers Extra Revenue for Digital Media Content Owners

ALPHARETTA, GA--(Marketwire - August 26, 2010) -  F3 Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: FTCH) is offering an enhanced revenue share for music, videos and high-definition still images whose copyright owners use F3's innovative FargoTube web-based digital media service, the company announced today.

As a promotion, any content owner that uploads their digital media to FargoTube through the end of December 2010 will receive 70 percent of the subscription and viewing fees generated by their content through the end of December 2011. Launched in June, FargoTube is the world's first digital media centric social networking platform that shares revenue with content owners.

The platform allows artists to monetize their online content directly. Unlike iTunes, Netflix and other online distribution channels, FargoTube gives content owners direct control over the sales process, including information about their fans' buying habits. It allows them to create fan sites -- "tubes" -- that double as online marketplaces.

Tube owners pay nothing for the service, neither during nor after the promotion. The owners choose what content is available free of charge, what is subject to subscription or per-view fees, and what those fees are.

For fans of an artist, FargoTube offers videos and other content that's better in quality and wider in selection than the videos that find their way onto free websites. And FargoTube gives fans new opportunities to interact with the artist and with each other.

The 70-30 promotion is aimed at expanding FargoTube's content in its initial launch phase. "This underscores FargoTube's commitment to ensuring that artists profit from their own works," F3 Chief Operating Officer Paul Campbell said.

"FargoTube is a unique way to monetize content in a world where online video and other digital media usually equals piracy or giveaways," Campbell said. "We're handing power and profits back to the creators."

Content owners can create their tubes at, and can then begin to upload their digital media immediately. Streamlined registration processes for viewers and content owners are among several updates the site has incorporated since June, as the site attracts artists including country musician Sherrié Austin and hip-hop dance instructor Kelly Peters.
