Fewer Than 3,000 Tickets Available for Thursday's Game Against Nashville

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 19, 2009) - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 3,000 tickets remain for Thursday's 7:30 p.m. home game against the Nashville Predators at Scotiabank Place.

The Predators, who will be making their only regular-season stop in Ottawa on Thursday (and first since Nov. 29, 2007), are captained by two-time NHL All-Star Jason Arnott and led by head coach Barry Trotz. Having guided the Predators since their inception in 1998, Trotz is the second-longest tenured coach in the NHL (Lindy Ruff - Buffalo) and one of only 10 coaches to guide the same team for at least 750 games.

Thursday's game against the Predators is a SUBWAY Savings game, where fans can receive a 20-per cent discount on regular-priced tickets, including more than 400 seats in the Coke Zero Zone priced at only $14 including taxes.

Saturday, Oct. 24, vs. Boston: Fewer than 500 tickets remain. The Boston Bruins make their first of three 2009-10 visits to the nation's capital. Last season's Northeast-Division winners are led by Ottawa native Marc Savard, who has tallied seven points through his team's first seven regular-season games. Saturday's game against the Bruins is sponsored by Metro.
