Fewer Than 3,000 Tickets Available for Tonight's Game Against Washington

Limited tickets available for upcoming home games

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 23, 2009) - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 3,000 tickets remain for tonight's 7:30 p.m. home game against the Washington Capitals at Scotiabank Place.

Tonight's game marks the first of four contests (and the first of two in Ottawa) against the current Eastern Conference leader. Capitals star Alex Ovechkin ranks second (tie) among all NHL players with 16 goals. The Senators are attempting to win a season-high fourth consecutive game before visiting the Devils in New Jersey on Wednesday evening.

Tickets remaining for upcoming games:

Thursday, Nov. 26, vs. Columbus: Fewer than 1,500 tickets remain. Team Canada hopeful Rick Nash and the Columbus Blue Jackets make their only regular-season stop in Ottawa. Nash is currently tied with Ovechkin for ninth in the NHL scoring race. Thursday's game against the Blue Jackets is a SUBWAY Savings game, when fans can receive a 20-per cent discount on regular-priced tickets, including more than 125 seats in the Coke Zero Zone priced at only $14 including taxes.

Tuesday, Dec. 8, vs. Montreal: Fewer than 1,500 tickets remain. The Northeast Division rival Canadiens visit the nation's capital for the first time this season. The Senators lead the season series by one victory following Alex Kovalev's two point effort in a 3-1 Ottawa win in Kovalev's return to the Bell Centre on Oct. 17.

Tickets for all November, December and January home games are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
