First Narrows' Prospectors Discover Base Metal-Precious Metal Stockwork Zone on Sonora, Mexico Property

Zone Is Greater Than 400m Long and 12m Wide With Grab Samples Assaying From 14 to 559 g/t Silver; Permits Are Being Submitted for Drilling on Several Targets

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - November 19, 2007) - First Narrows Resources Corp. (TSX-V: UNO) (PINKSHEETS: FNRWF) (the "Company") is pleased to report that Minera FNR de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. ("FNR"), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Narrows, has discovered a polymetallic (silver-bismuth-antimony-iron-copper-lead-zinc-barium) stockwork structure approximately 80 km (49.7 mi.) east-southeast of the city of Hermosillo. Abundant hematite and specular hematite occur as stockwork veins across the full width of the structure (up to 12 meters or 39.5 ft.). Semi-massive to massive barite occurs over widths up to 3 meters (10 ft.). Galena (PbS) and chalcopyrite (CuFeS2) are visible in association with the barite.

Historical small mine activity, consisting of several historical shafts and pits, targeted high grade silver mineralization along the structure. Analytical results of ten grab samples follow:

      Metal Range (ppm or g/t)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
                              From to
Silver - Ag 14.00 559.00
Gold - Au 0.01 0.20
Bismuth - Bi 24.00 800.00
Antimony - Sb 31.00 3,100.00
Copper - Cu 180.00 2,030.00
Lead - Pb 1,090.00 34,100.00 (3.41%)
Zinc - Zn 149.00 9,090.00
Barium - Ba 1,370.00 3,200.00

All analytical work was carried out by ALS Chemex Laboratories. Geochemical analyses, except for gold, were done using ICP. The gold assays were by standard fire assay with AA finish. Base metal assays were carried out by aqua regia digestion followed by ICP-AAS on samples exceeding 10,000 ppm copper, lead, or zinc. Seven of the ten samples are greater than 99 ppm Ag. Molybdenum and arsenic values are anomalous. A yellow stain, present in one part of the stockwork zone, is interpreted as possible wulfenite (PbMoO4 - lead molybdate).

The Company's claim position in the area east of Hermosillo, Sonora, now totals 108,530 hectares (266,874 acres) covering a mix of ASTER anomalies, favourable structures, and historical mineral occurrences. Exploration programs are ongoing on the claims focused mainly on prospecting targets delineated by an alteration mapping study carried out earlier in 2007 using ASTER satellite imagery of the region. Copper, molybdenum, tungsten, gold, and silver mineral showings are spatially related to the ASTER anomalies. There is no record of the alteration targets, or the historical mineral showings, ever having been evaluated by modern geophysical methods or drilling. Geologically, the Property lies within the western part of the northerly trending copper-molybdenum porphyry and gold mineral belts.

Permits are being submitted for diamond drill programs on several targets; including the Susana D'Oro high grade copper-gold veins (see original news release of November 16, 2006).
