Fish & Richardson Ranked Among Elite Top 10 Patent Firms by Intellectual Property Today Magazine


BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - March 25, 2010) -  Fish & Richardson has ranked among the elite Top 10 patent firms in Intellectual Property Today magazine's list of the "2010 Top Patent Firms." The annual survey, which included 356 law firms and individuals, ranked firms based on the number of patents obtained in 2009. Fish was responsible for 1,584 utility patents and 95 design patents for a total of 1,679 patents issued in 2009, which represents a 3.2 percent increase from 2008.

With more than 200 attorneys registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and more than 80 attorneys with Ph.D.'s, patent work is one of Fish's core practice areas.
