Five Star Rating for Flowers Direct's Blossoming New Website

MORECAMBE, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Nov. 11, 2009) - Online florist Flowers Direct has just scored a big hit with the reviewers at Web User magazine. Having just launched their revamped website, the fast growing flowers retailer were awarded five stars by this respected internet publication for what was termed a 'bloomin' impressive effort.

Web User is the UK's best-selling internet magazine - one that's been on sale every fortnight since 2001. Their aim is to offer UK consumers simple-to-follow internet and computing advice that is 'accessible, inspiring and useful'.

"So if they reckon that we're 'accessible, inspiring and useful', then who are we to argue?!" commented Marketing Director, Michael Duffy.

The magazine particularly liked the 'airy and attractive home-page' and picked out features like easy to use navigation, customer reviews and the new date reminder service for a special mention.

"Launching a new website takes months of planning,"adds Michael. "We consulted with florists and customers, as well as the internal team here, to ensure we created a shopping experience that was delightful and rewarding for our customers. We can send flowers anywhere across the UK via our supporting network of 800 independent florists - and now we believe we've finally created the online shop that will maximise our order gathering potential."

The Flowers Direct online revamp has launched with some great offers, and these were noted by Web User - all so aware that customers like a bit of a bargain in these recessionary times.

"At the moment," says Michael, "we've got a great free delivery offer on Same Day Flowers. These are delivered by local florists and are always beautiful. Plus we've got early bird discounts on hampers - although these are definitely in short supply."

Looks like Flowers Direct are in great shape for a strong online Christmas, especially with an enhanced range of Christmas hampers and gifts alongside a fabulous new website.
