FogMate™, Boat Safety Product, Now Available Through C-Map

Sounds Boat Horn Automatically for Fog and Distress Warnings

NORWOOD, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 29, 2006 -- FogMate, which automatically sounds a boat's horn in correct cadence during fog as required by the Coast Guard, is now available through C-Map USA, a top provider of electronic navigation charts. C-Map will be actively promoting FogMate to its customers in North and South America.

"Few boaters know that they're required to sound their horn every two minutes in fog. This is a nifty device that automates that," said C-Map's Richard Ellis. "And it fits in perfectly with our mission of safety and navigation education."

Boaters can choose four automated horn-blast patterns: the international fog signals for underway, stopped, and restricted maneuverability, and the SOS distress signal.

Manufactured by TSX Products of Norwood, Mass., FogMate installs in about 15 minutes and operates with the vessel's existing horn and navigation light switches, requiring no new switches or holes in the helm.

It measures just 3" by 1.5" by 1" and weighs 3.5 ounces. FogMate includes a wiring harness, color-coded wiring, mounting screws, owner's manual and helm decal with concise instructions. It has won plaudits from many boating publications and was also recently adopted by Kahlenberg Brothers Company, the famous horn manufacturer.
