Former Google Executive Gokul Rajaram Joins Associated Content Board of Directors

Contributes Decades of Experience to Emerging Web Publisher

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 17, 2009) - Associated Content, the fastest growing Web publisher, announced today that Gokul Rajaram, who led product management for Google AdSense, will be joining its board of directors. Rajaram brings two decades of experience and leadership to the company, having played an integral role in AdSense's growth. He rounds out the company's board, which includes Mike Perlis (SoftBank Capital), Ron Conway (Angel Investors), Warren Lee (Canaan Partners) and Rich LeFurgy (Archer).

Considered one of the most advanced thinkers in the Internet era, Rajaram helped create and launch AdSense in less than six months, for which he was awarded The Founders Award, Google's highest honor. While at Google, he also drove acquisitions such as DoubleClick and AdScape. Prior to joining Google, Rajaram developed Juno Online's back-end advertising system and facilitated its move to the public markets in 1999. Currently, Rajaram is founder and CEO of Chai Labs, which is creating a content and community platform for Web publishers.
