Fortified Holdings Delivers NOMAD Communication Units to USNORTHCOM's Joint Task Force for Civil Support

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - October 16, 2007) - Fortified Holdings Corp. (OTCBB: FFDH) ("Fortified" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Joint Task Force for Civil Support ("JTF-CS") has taken possession of several upgraded NOMAD C4 Incident Command Platforms.

JTF-CS is a standing joint task force comprised of active, reserve and Guard members from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard, as well as civilian personnel, and is commanded by a federalized Army National Guard General Officer. Established in October 1999, JTF-CS is a subordinate unit of U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), a new unified combatant command formed in October 2002 to plan, organize and execute both homeland defense and civil support missions. When directed by the President or the Secretary of Defense, USNORTHCOM provides military assistance to civil authorities, including consequence management operations.

JTF-CS is the Nation's only standing Joint Operational Headquarters dedicated exclusively to planning and integrating Department of Defense support to the designated primary federal agency for domestic Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosive ("CBRNE") consequence management operations. When directed by the commander of USNORTHCOM, JTF-CS deploys and executes timely and effective command and control of designated DOD forces providing support of civil authorities in order to save lives, prevent injury, and provide temporary critical life support.

As one of Fortified's earliest customers with the acquisition of prototype NOMAD systems almost one year ago, JTF-CS now benefits from the additional upgrade of significant improvements made over the past year and incorporated into the current product line. Product training is scheduled to commence during the week of October 22nd followed by a period of testing. Upon the anticipated successful completion of the tests it is believed that the NOMAD command & control system will be readied for deployment as a key component to the JTF-CS Mobility Suite of tools used in conjunction with domestic operations.
