Fortified Holdings Receives Commitment for NOMAD Incident Command Systems From New Orleans Office of Homeland Security

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - November 26, 2007) - Fortified Holdings Corp. (OTCBB: FFDH) ("Fortified" or the "Company") wishes to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Fortified DataCom ( has received a commitment from the New Orleans Office of the Department of Homeland Security and Public Safety ("DHS&PS") for the acquisition of five NOMAD C4XS mobile communications systems.

Provisioning of NOMAD Mobile Incident Command platforms to the City of New Orleans DHS&PS will provide for significantly improved Command & Control during major events hosted by the City such as the upcoming Sugar Bowl and Mardi Gras festivities. Given the previous sale of NOMAD products to both the City of New Orleans Police Department and to the Jefferson Parish Sherriff's Office, the purchase improves overall interoperability and tactical coordination with regional Emergency Response commanders throughout the State.

This sale marks a first for Fortified in that it comes under the auspices of a strategic partnership with Fisher Safety ( one of the nation's premier providers of specialized equipment for the First Responder marketplace. Fortified's management are working diligently towards developing a formal relationship with Fisher Safety in order to develop future sales to the State of Louisiana. Fisher Safety was instrumental to the process as they are under contract with the State and provided expertise in identifying and securing grant funding for the acquisition.

A secondary achievement of the contract comes via the increased awareness of the NOMAD products onto the local emergency preparedness scene. Gaining acceptance as the mobile data communications platform of choice throughout the region comes partially from its accessibility to every community no matter how small, via the assistance of available government grant programs. Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu has stated that every law enforcement officer should have access to uninterruptible satellite communications and the NOMAD system can pave the way for that very eventuality.

New Orleans now boasts the largest concentration of NOMAD products in the nation. August 23, 2005 is remembered as the date that Hurricane Katrina formed and began its deadly approach causing devastation along much of the north-central Gulf Coast. It was the costliest and one of the five deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States. It was the sixth-strongest Atlantic hurricane ever recorded and the third-strongest hurricane on record to make landfall in America. The lessons learned from Katrina include the absolute necessity of uninterruptible communications throughout emergency situations.

Company sales representative Jim Elliot comments, "Post Katrina, we got the opportunity to examine what occurs in an urban environment when the command infrastructure loses communications overnight. We set out to listen to industry leaders who dealt with that situation and we learned a whole lot from their experiences. Fortified's products are a direct answer to many of the problems encountered in 2005. We continue to listen and learn from subsequent events and are constantly updating our product line with the introduction of items such as advanced situational awareness products like geospatial mapping software. We have been working hard to build relationships with the Emergency Response community and we stand behind what we sell. Our customers know they can count on the fact that the next time they are faced with a major event, our products and team will be on many of the front lines alongside them, helping to protect the property and lives of others."

Big or small, storm or terrorist threat, events that put the public's safety at risk demand effective command & control. The NOMAD Incident Command Platform was created to provide emergency workers with a robust package that delivers under any conditions, at anytime, and anywhere. For more information, please visit:
