Four Vines Releases Its Latest Hedonist Lineup of Wines for Incident Members and Wine Freaks Alike

PASO ROBLES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 30, 2006 -- Four Vines Winery, makers of traditional and eclectic wines, today announced that its latest release of Zinfandels, Chardonnay, Rhone varietals, Petite Syrah, Tempranillo, and Zin/Syrah port are ready to ROCK!

"Four Vines wines capture the nectar of eternal youth -- exotic, enticing, irreverent, bold, seductive -- unveiling and sparking a mysterious and personal story with every bottle," observed Christian Tietje, winemaker.

2005 Naked Chardonnay, Santa Barbara County, $14.00

"Naked" is the anti-chardonnay, the expression for a no-oak style of winemaking: pure fruit that has not seen any oak, nor does it want to.

2004 Biker Zinfandel, Paso Robles, $20.00

"The Biker" came from the West Side of Paso Robles, with a thunderous rumble and dust clouds following behind. A splash of Mourvedre lends an extra kick in the mid-palate. Kick start your palate, this Biker rocks!

2004 Dusi Zinfandel, Paso Robles, $30.00

The head-pruned old vines of the Dusi Vineyard have come to define the intense bramble-berry flavors of Paso Zin. The wine was aged in small French and American Oak barrels for 14 months.

2004 Peasant, Traditional Rhone Blend, Paso Robles, $30.00

Adorned in provincial knickers with a small barrel in hand as he says to hell with temperance and tips his head back for another swallow. This traditional Rhone blend is 41% Syrah, 38% Mourvedre, 12% Grenache and 9% Counnoise.

2004 Heretic, Petite Syrah, Paso Robles, $30.00

In the world of traditional, normal, everyday, wines, one wine emerges to wreak chaos on convention. The Heretic SCREAMS at complacency (merlot) and CRUSHES conformity (cabernet).

2004 Loco, Spanish Tempranillo Blend, Paso Robles, $30.00

The bullfighter entered the ring, the bull stares him down from across stadium, exhaling winds of fire and glaring at the matador as if he was his next prey. This massive Tempranillo from the "Tres Cajones Vineyard" in Templeton is blended with Syrah and Grenache. Grab a glass, ole!

2002 Zinfandel-Syrah Port, Paso Robles, $25.00

Zinfandel and Syrah, with two-year aged Brandy added to arrest fermentation at 12 degrees Brix. This opulent wine was then aged for three years in small French and American Oak barrels. Best served with chocolate, a fire, and a willing companion.
