Franc-Or Finds More Surface Mineralization and Begins Drilling Mario, Peru

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 20, 2007) - Franc-Or Resources Corporation (TSX:FOR) is pleased to announce that recent exploration work at the Company's 100% owned Mario Property located in central Peru has discovered additional veins and carbonate replacement mantos within the West Vein Area and East Vein Area that straddle the Cerro Punapuna and Cerro Carhuante volcano-plutonic complexes.

The Company is also pleased to announce that the 3,500 meter diamond drilling campaign has commenced on schedule.

The weighted-average results of 338 surface rock-chip channel samples cut across the recently sampled areas noted above, are summarized in Tables 1, 2, and 3 below, with location references to the accompanying map. These rock-chip results are in addition to those previously presented in the August 30, 2007 Press Release.

The Company's technical staff is particularly excited about the excellent values of Zn, Pb, and Ag returned from several locations in the West Vein Area, summarized in Table 1. As with the previously announced vein discoveries from areas outlying the Cerro Punapuna Complex, these are primarily new discoveries expressed at the surface as highly oxidized gossanous veins, mantos, and breccias. Only the Veta Adams Zone shows some old minor underground and surface workings. Whereas the levels of gossanous oxidation exhibited in these rocks typically result in strong leaching of most metals, it is particularly encouraging to see the high values displayed in the Veta Victoria Sur Zone. Here, cymoidal structures appear to have formed extensional zones between en echelon veins that can reach up to 50 meters and average fifteen meters in width.

Individual sample analyses from the West Vein Area range from trace values to up to 35.0% Zn, 9.7% Pb, 0.1% Cu, 2,420.0 g/t Ag, and 0.18 g/t Au. Company geologists hope to encounter comparable grades of base and precious metals over significant widths of massive sulfides below the approximately 40 meter-deep oxide zone in the current round of drilling. The overall strike extent of the Veta Victoria structure is intermittent in exposure, but appears to in excess of 3 kilometers.

Surface rock-chip values from the East Vein Area as shown in Table 2 below are overall more subdued than those of the West Vein Area, but individual sample analyses range from trace values to up to 3.1% Zn, 1.4% Pb, 0.02% Cu, 184 g/t Ag, and 1.1 g/t Au. The Dolomita Zone is encouraging in that it displays well-developed secondary sanded dolomite with somewhat elevated metal values where veins and veinlets of quartz and oxidized sulfides are locally present.

The dacite domes that were sampled in the Cerro Carhuante Complex and summarized in Table 3, show mostly subdued metal values with the exception of a saccharoidal quartz vein averaging 2.6 meters wide with a strong presence of arsenopyrite and pyrite that runs 3.43 g/t Au in a channel sample across a 15-meter long outcrop that aligns with the northeast-trending Veta Julia. The Veta Julia structure cuts through the West Vein Area and projects through to the northwest flank of Domo Norte.

In addition, the Company is pleased to report that the Institute of Geology, Mines and Metallurgy (INGEMMET) recently informed them that the newly applied-for Yawarinka 2 mining concession consisting of 300 hectares on the southern edge of the Mario property has been granted to it's 100% owned subsidiary, Franc-Or Resources Peru S.A.C.. This brings the total ground under control in the Mario Project to 3,000 hectares. Initial surface mapping and rock-chip sampling will commence immediately on this ground and will be concentrated on an altered intersection of a broad east-west structural corridor with a north-northwest structure passing through the central zone of the Cerro Punapuna Complex.

The current 3,500 meter diamond drill program is designed to test:

- pull-apart zones in veins in the West Vein Area;

- horsetail veins and dolomitized breccias in the East Vein Area;

- select areas along the flank of a silicified sulfidic flow dome in the Domo Norte part of the Cerro Carhuante Complex;

- silicified portions of gold/silver-bearing diatremic breccia in the central part of the Cerro Punapuna Complex; and

- untested prominent IP and Resistivity anomalies in Pucara limestone along the southern flanks of the Cerro Punapuna Complex adjacent to the area where several stages of drilling had previously been conducted.

Franc-Or management is very positive about the potential exhibited by the multiple targets that are currently being tested within a mineralized surface area on the Mario property that is now known to exceed six square kilometers.
