Fraser Institute Cocktail Series Hosts Discussion on Canada's Ailing Health Care System

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 13, 2007) - Rick Baker, founder of Timely Medical Alternatives, and Nadeem Esmail, the Fraser Institute's director of health performance studies, will discuss Canada's ailing healthcare system in the final evening of the 2007 fall cocktail series, Behind the Spin: Fraser @ OPUS on Wednesday, November 14.

Timely Medical Alternatives Inc. was formed in 2003 to help Canadians facing lengthy waits for medical treatments obtain immediate treatment through private medical clinics.

Baker is a leading spokesperson on Canadian health care reform. He is an active promoter of privatized, for-profit health care and a frequent media commentator on the subject.
