Fraser Institute Hosts Discussion on the Future of Canadian Media at Behind the Spin: Fraser @ the Fifth

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 2, 2008) - Diane Francis, Financial Post columnist, and Andy Barrie, host of CBC radio's Metro Morning show, will debate the challenges and opportunities the Internet presents to traditional Canadian media in the third evening of the Fraser Institute's cocktail series, Behind the Spin: Fraser @ The Fifth, Tuesday, May 6.

Francis, renowned for her columns which appear in the Financial Post and syndicated columns which appear in the Canwest newspaper chain, is also the editor-at-large for the National Post. She is also a broadcaster, author of eight best-selling books, and a popular speaker.

Barrie joined the CBC in 1995 and is the host of CBC radio's top-rated Metro Morning show. He has also worked for CJAD in Montreal and CFRB in Toronto as host of the top-rated program, The Andy Barrie Show.
