FreeBalance Achieves ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Company implements Quality Management System (QMS) in support of customer-centric objectives

ISO 9001:2000 is an internationally recognized quality management system standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The FreeBalance Quality Management System (QMS) is part of a company-wide initiative to improve customer-centricity by aligning corporate goals and objectives with clients. The QMS is complemented by several customer-centric initiatives including the FreeBalance International Steering Committee (FISC) to set product futures, the automated client portal for enhanced customer interaction, and performance scorecarding to ensure customer satisfaction and responsiveness. Successful implementations of PFM software require proven government expertise and systems for meeting unique customer needs.

Companies must implement a well documented Quality Management System (QMS) to be certified to the ISO 9001:2000 standard by an independent 3rd Party. The ISO standard ensures consistency and improvement of working practices for all products and services provided by FreeBalance.

BSI Management Systems, a leading quality management systems certification body, performed on-site assessments, examined FreeBalance's documented procedures, and audited its overall operations. BSI will conduct yearly audits of FreeBalance's business operations to determine continued compliance with ISO 9001:2000.
