Fundy Identifies Eight New Potential Gold Targets at Sand Brook

The Board of Fundy Minerals Ltd ("Fundy" or "the Company"), the Canadian and West African exploration company,
is pleased to report that the Company has completed an extensive geophysical survey at its 100% owned Sand
Brook gold project, identifying eight new potential Gold targets.

The Company's June 2009 ground mag/vlf survey has yielded four strong magnetic highs, and three medium mag
highs on the western grid at the Sand Brook property. The vlf results on the western grid indicates a north-
south trending conductive area, and is interpreted as a probable gold mineralized zone.

The central grid also showed one strong magnetic high. An eastern grid at Sand Brook yielded a strong
vertical gradient (VG4 ) and several anomalous magnetic highs and an east-west trending vlf conductive zone
which, is consistent with the known direction of the gold hosted shear zone.

The Company engaged Vickers Geophysics Inc. to review and undertake a compilation from a prior airborne
survey, known as the 1st Derivative Aeromagnetics Survey. This survey identified magnetic anomalous areas
over the two Sand Brook gold zones which, the Company has been actively exploring. The survey also indicated
extensive anomalous areas covering circa 240 acres on the yet unexplored, western portion of the Sand Brook
claim group. Thus the impetus of this ground mag & vlf survey.

Company Chief Geologist Paul Lemmon cited, "I am very pleased with the results of the survey, as strong
magnetic zones were discovered and vlf results suggest new mineralized zones at Sand Brook. The trending
directional alignment of the mag highs and vlf conductive zones correlate well to the known extensive shear
zone that hosts Gold mineralization, suggestive of further new Gold zones. Further work and drilling will be
planned over these new anomalous areas of interest, as well as the known gold zones."

Company Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Michel added, "These eight new zones of interest add significantly to the
results Fundy has already identified and on a regional basis, be reminded that proximal Freewest Resources
Clarence Stream Gold deposit has a NI-43-101 compliant indicated resource of 235,000 ounces of gold."

Scientific or technical information relating to Fundy's activity is based on direct supervision of, or has been
reviewed by, Paul Lemmon, PGeo., Chief Geologist of the Company.

The Directors of the Issuer accept responsibility for this announcement.
