GBG Merger Meets Challenges of North American Wine
Market

GBG announced today its decision to merge with Charlotte, NC-based
Distribution Information Systems Corp, as part of its ongoing effort to
create complete in-house solutions for wine and spirit distributors.

The merger and the addition of DISC'S route accounting system, Beverage
Management Information System™ (BMIS), makes GBG the number one sales
and distribution software choice for the wine industry.

As it continues to grow and consolidate, the wine industry requires a
system that meets today's challenges, noted DISC President Timothy
Powers. "This merger will enable our wine and spirit customers to access
GBG's extensive product suite, tools which will deliver our customers a
competitive edge."

This latest transaction with DISC follows closely on the heels of GBG's
recent merger with Beverage Solutions Inc. (BSI) another leading
provider of software for wine and spirit distributors.
