GC China Turbine Corp. Chairman Mr. Hou Tiexin to Represent China at IEC International Standards Conference in Seoul, South Korea

CENTERVILLE, MA--(Marketwire - October 26, 2009) - GC China Turbine Corp. (OTCBB: GCHT) (the "Company") is pleased to advise that the annual conference of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission -- www.iec.ch) Technical Committee 8 (TC8) will be held in Seoul, South Korea from November 9th to 12th, 2009. A number of the world's top power experts from nine countries are invited to attend and Mr. Hou Tiexin, Chairman of the Board of GC China Turbine Corp. will represent China at the conference.

The topic of the conference will focus on the "Impact of Dispersed Generation Renewable Energy Sources on Grid Planning and Operation." The agenda is to provide guidelines for planning, design and operation of MV/LV (Medium and Low Voltage) grids with substantial dispersed generation, mainly focusing on the rapidly increasing number of small plants with different (often renewable) energy sources and predominantly discontinuous generation of sources such as wind and solar power, Mr. Hou Tiexin will deliver a speech principally focusing on the impact of wind power on grid planning and operations. This topic is aimed at assisting the development of standards in the wind power technology sector.
