GEORGE™ Offers the Ultimate iPod® Control as the First Updatable Tabletop Audio System

Chestnut Hill Sound Introduces New Features for GEORGE With Update V3.0 at Macworld 2008

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - January 14, 2008) - Macworld 2008 (Booth #1644) - Chestnut Hill Sound today announced updates to GEORGE, the award-winning compact sound system for the iPod. The first updatable compact audio system, GEORGE is designed with a USB port that enables users to update GEORGE as new features become available by simply downloading software. With the V3.0 update, listeners can queue songs while listening. Version 3.0 also enhances GEORGE's award-winning iPod navigation to include the addition of word completion for faster navigation and the ability to schedule the alarm clock for selected days. Chestnut Hill Sound is committed to providing consumers "Products With a Future™" that provide enduring value. The company will demonstrate GEORGE's new features at Macworld 2008 booth #1644, located next to the Apple booth.

With the industry's only wireless remote control offering full iPod functionality, no other compact sound system allows users ultimate control of their iPod from their place of comfort. GEORGE also offers brilliant sound with its Balanced Sonics™ approach to emulating recording studio speaker systems. GEORGE is the only compact sound system that contains five speakers, including a subwoofer. GEORGE also includes the world’s first BANDLESS™ AM/FM radio and advanced alarm clock features.

The new features of GEORGE offer users additional remote control functionality. Users are now able to queue up songs on their playlist while listening to the current track on their iPod. The queue will play selected songs in the chosen sequence. In the past, as a user's music library grew, it took more time to scroll down the list of artists and songs on the iPod. GEORGE now allows users to specify secondary letters when searching for a certain artist or song. For example, a user could easily jump to a Rolling Stones track by spelling "ROL." Secondary spelling is the fastest way to navigate a large music collection on the iPod. The new scheduling feature for the alarm clock enables users to select specific days for each alarm setting.

"The last generation of consumer electronics has taken on a disposable quality, with owners being forced to buy a brand new product each time new features are added," said Steve Krampf, CEO of Chestnut Hill Sound. "GEORGE reverses that trend by offering a sound system that is updateable; now, consumers can have the latest functionality by going to our website and downloading new features via GEORGE's USB port."

Additional updates to GEORGE recently released include:

-- Radio data system -- the ability to view any information sent by FM
    station on the time screen or radio screen;
--  Automatic daylight savings time clock adjustment;
-- Second zone of audio -- GEORGE's speakers can now be on while feeding
    a separate amplifier and speakers;
-- Automatic alarm muting -- setting the length of time your alarm will
-- iPod AutoPlay -- playback either a playlist or shuffle songs
    automatically after the iPod is done loading;
--  Adjustable volume when no source is selected;
-- GEORGE is compatible with the latest generation iPod models including
    the iPhone.
