GPS Industries Expands Global Customer Base With Another Sale to Prestigious Golf Club in China

Shanghai Sheshan International Golf Club Chooses Inforemer® Golf Management System

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 27, 2007) - GPS Industries, Inc. (GPSI) (OTCBB:GPSN), the world's leading provider of WiFi-enabled golf management systems and 'direct to the golfer' media, announced today that the Shanghai Sheshan International Golf Club (Sheshan), which hosted Tiger Woods and the HSBC Champions Tournament during the Asian Open, will install the company's state-of-the-art Inforemer® Golf Management System on the 18-hole championship course.

Located within the Sheshan National Tourism Resort district and only 30 minutes from downtown Shanghai, Sheshan International Golf Club comprises an 18 hole championship Nelson & Haworth designed golf course, 108 luxury Villa homes and 118 Townhomes. Sheshan will add GPS Industries' Inforemer® system to their already extensive list of amenities housed within two 60,000 sq. ft Tuscan-style clubhouses; these include a full sports club, swimming pool, tennis courts, bowling alley, restaurants, and retail shops.

"I was the first facility in Australia to introduce the Inforemer system at Brookwater back in 2003", said David Townend, General Manager of Sheshan Golf Club & Golf Estate. "In 2004 when we opened Sheshan we set ourselves a goal of targeting a niche market of extremely successful individuals to join our club, who would appreciate a level of service and facilities that was previously not available in the market. From my previous knowledge of installing the Inforemer system I was confident the technology would deliver a greater golfing experience to our members and their guests."

Townend added: "I was surprised however by just how many advancements had been made to the system since 2003. The WiFi network, the Fire at the Flag competition, the Hammerhead portable management tool and the installation of tracking devices on our golf course machinery makes this a management solution that will enhance financial returns in virtually every area of our business."

GPSi Asia Chairman, Larry Silzer, commented: "We are extremely pleased to have Shanghai Sheshan International Golf Club join our stable of growing customers in China and Asia. The added bonus was having David Townend as a 'repeat customer' from Australia's Brookwater Club. A repeat purchase from a customer who could have selected any system in the world validates the Inforemer as the best solution in the industry."

The installation at Sheshan continues GPSI's global expansion, with a growing client base in Asia, Europe, The Middle East and South Africa. The Company now serves more than 340 leading golf facilities around the world.
