GSA Schedule Now Includes Largest Nonprofit Assessment Company
WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - November 25, 2008) - Educational Testing Service (ETS) announced
today its inclusion on the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) list
of companies approved to supply products and services to the U.S.
Government. ETS is one of the first nonprofit education assessment and
research organizations to be included on the GSA Schedule 69 [Training Aids
and Devices, Instructor-Led Training; Course Development; Test
Administration].
ETS, a global leader in developing fair and valid assessments and education
research, can now offer training aids and devices as well as test
administration services directly to government agencies. All federal
agencies, including cabinet, independent and quasi-governmental groups,
have the option of requesting orders for ETS's products and services using
GSA Advantage, an online marketplace for GSA schedules.
"ETS has committed to the federal marketplace by securing a GSA Schedule
contract. As a nonprofit organization, ETS is focusing on extending our
mind share to the federal government via collaborations that will enable
our best practices to be adopted by the public sector," says Chuck Cascio,
ETS Vice President of Interactive Learning.
The awarded GSA contract ensures the government of ETS's best pricing.
ETS is providing the federal government with a considerable discount off
of its established commercial rates. Furthermore, ETS is offering GSA an
additional volume discount on orders equal to or greater than $500,001. ETS
has been well received by the government agencies and plans to expand its
reach within the agencies by introducing its core offerings.
ETS products approved by GSA include tests and assessments in the K-12,
Higher Education and School Assessments, and Interactive Learning
Divisions.
ETS's GSA Schedule 69 has four categories:
-- Teaching machines/devices
-- Prepared/printed instructional material
-- Prepared audio and visual instruction material/multimedia program kits
-- Instructor-led and web-based training
