Galore Resources Inc.: Sivertson Joins Galore Board

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 1, 2007) - Galore Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GRI) announced today the appointment of Lorne Sivertson, B.A., M.A. to the company's Board of Directors.

Galore's Chairman William Coulter, in making the announcement at the company's annual meeting, said, "Mr. Sivertson brings a wealth of experience to Galore with his impressive background in the resource and financial sectors."

Mr. Sivertson's extensive business background includes positions of past President and CEO of Columbia Power Corporation and is a former Sr. Vice-President of the Canadian Western Bank.

Mr. Sivertson served the Province of BC as an Assistant Deputy Minister in Finance, Energy & Mines, and Forests. "Mr. Sivertson's background will greatly assist Galore's commitment to grow the company's assets in resource-based sectors," Coulter added.

Galore also announced the grant of an aggregate 385,000 incentive stock options to directors, consultants and employees. These options are exercisable for a period of five years from the date of grant at a price of $0.37 per share.

Galore is actively exploring for copper, gold and molybdenum on its 48,000-hectare holdings in the Taseko Lakes area of southwestern BC and for uranium on its six properties in the Great Slave Lake area of the Northwest Territories.
