Gamma Medica-Ideas Ends 2005 With Best Month Ever

Company Ships Six FLEX™ Pre-Clinical Imaging Systems in December; Sets New Annual Sales Record

NORTHRIDGE, CA and OSLO, NORWAY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 20, 2006 -- Gamma Medica-Ideas shipped six of its FLEX™ Pre-Clinical Imaging systems in December to academic and pharmaceutical customers in the United States and Canada. The six shipments consisted of four MicroSPECT™/CT dual-modality systems and two PET systems. The two PET systems were added to existing Gamma Medica-Ideas MicroSPECT/CT systems, converting these dual modality systems into tri-modality systems. Gamma Medica-Ideas is the only company in the world that offers three imaging modalities in one system.

"It's gratifying to see customers respond so enthusiastically to our vision for pre-clinical imaging," said David Wilk, Gamma Medica-Ideas' Senior Vice President of Sales. "Offering three modalities that can be configured in a variety of customized ways in a single platform is a unique and attractive proposition for the imaging community."

About Gamma Medica-Ideas

Gamma Medica-Ideas (GM-I) designs, develops and manufactures next-generation imaging systems used in diagnostic medicine, medical research, and for security and safety applications.

The company is a world leader in developing imaging systems that contain two or more imaging capabilities. GM-I's products include the LumaGEM® 3200S/12K™ functional breast imaging system for early diagnosis of breast cancer and the FLEX™ Pre-clinical Imaging Platform for medical research and drug development. FLEX systems are used by medical researchers and drug companies that use in-vivo imaging techniques and molecular markers to dramatically speed up studies of disease progression and therapy. GM-I's FLEX systems include:

-- X-SPECT® -- the market leader in the pre-clinical SPECT category

-- X-PET™ -- the highest sensitivity and largest axial field of view
    pre-clinical PET system

-- X-O™ -- the fastest volume micro-CT instrument available.
Any two ofthe above systems can be combined in the FLEX imaging gantry, as can all three.

GM-I's expertise in unique next-generation, integrated front-end electronics allows it to produce some of the world's only truly digital imaging equipment. The company develops and produces all of its key electrical components and systems, such as:

-- Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs)
