Garda Announces Management Reorganization to Facilitate Integration Across its Operations

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA--(Marketwire - June 7, 2007) - Garda World Security Corporation (TSX:GW), one of the most trusted consulting, investigation and security firms in the world, announced today a corporate reorganization that will capitalize on synergies in the company's ongoing integration activities.

This reorganization will further strengthen our competitive position as well as our ability to create shareholder value as we continue our growth. Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Alain Dumont, CA, will lead the newly created Transaction Development Group as Senior Vice President. Mr. Dumont will focus on the integration of ATI Systems International to achieve the expected synergies, working closely with Richard Irvin, who became President and COO of Garda's cash logistics business in the U.S. following the acquisition of the firm in April 2007. Mr. Dumont will also continue his active role in all M&A activities and special projects. As of September 1, 2007, Alain will be based out of Garda's U.S. cash logistics head office in Los Angeles.

Francois Rodrigue, CA, has been appointed Senior Vice President and CFO, effective June 18, 2007. For the past four years, Mr. Rodrigue was Vice President of Finance and Administration at L-3 MAS, a large U.S. public company in the Aerospace & Defense industry where he oversaw the Finance, Legal, and Information Systems operations. Previously, Mr. Rodrigue acted as Vice President of Finance at CAE, a leading Canadian aerospace company. Earlier in his career, he worked at Pratt & Whitney Canada and KPMG. He is a graduate of the University of Montreal.

Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer (COO), Patrice Boily, P. Eng., appointed to Senior Vice President of Operations and Reengineering, will lead the cash logistics team in Canada and will oversee the integration of all Toronto Ontario operations in the new 40,000 square foot facility. Mr. Boily will also assist with the integration of AT Systems in the U.S. Midwest region.

Jean Talbot, CGA, Special Advisor to the CEO, has been named Senior Vice President of Enterprise Intelligence Services, Garda's newly formed unit which helps clients manage risks, reduce losses, enhance security, and make informed business decisions. The new unit provides value-added services such as Pre-Employment Screening, Life and Health Underwriting and Canadian Property Inspections to insurance companies, financial institutions, and property management companies.

Marc-Andre Aube, MBA, P. Eng., and CFA, has been named Special Advisor to the CEO. Previously, Mr. Aube acted as Director of Corporate Debt at Caisse de Depot et de Placement du Quebec's Private Placement group for four years where he managed a private placement portfolio of more than CAD $1.2 billion. Earlier in his career, Mr. Aube was Retail Operations Manager at Petro-Canada. In his new role, he will work closely with Allan Bentley, Senior Vice President, Ontario and Western Canada, and Luc Dupont, Vice President Business Development in Quebec in the realignment of the entire physical security operation in Canada to profitably expand the business.

Louis Laframboise, Vice President of Consulting and Investigation for Canada, will assume additional responsibilities as his organization becomes part of GardaWorld, a newly formed unit offering international consulting, investigation and global risks services, which unifies the international teams from KSI/KGSI (subsidiaries of Kroll), Vance, GSS Group and CLI Chartrand Laframboise.

LeMarque Sheppard, while maintaining his responsibilities in the physical security sector in the U.S., will additionally lead the GardaWorld entity as its President. Mr. Sheppard will be based out of Washington D.C. and London, UK. Over the past five years with Vance, Mr. Sheppard held senior management positions across all service areas, including Protection Services, Executive Protection, and Asset Protection. Previously to Vance, he was Principal for an international risk management firm and at McKinsey & Company, where he assisted business leaders in strategic management initiatives. He has a Masters in Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Harvard University.

Garda also announced the appointment of Guy Cote as Vice President and Chief Security Officer, replacing Robert St-Jean, who is retiring on June 15, 2007. Mr. Cote joins Garda from Surete du Quebec where he was Director of the State Security Directorate, responsible for intelligence services, executive protection for government delegations, and security for the National Assembly. Mr. Cote is a member of the Quebec Government Security Strategic Orientation Committee, the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police. He is a graduate of the University of Quebec in Montreal with a degree in Administration.
