Garrison International Announces Tovshiir Project Expands Mineralized Zones With Channel Sample Results Returning Up to 146.19 g/t Au. (Average 22.75 g/t Au) and Drill Results Up to 19.64 g/t Au

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 4, 2007) - GARRISON INTERNATIONAL LTD. ("Garrison")(TSX VENTURE:GAU) Garrison is pleased to announce additional channel sample results and drill results for the Tovshiir Project located in Sukhbaatar Province, Mongolia. The channel sample and drill results for the Quartz Blow area sampling program confirm the potential for a near surface, open pit mining operation on the property. The deposit of shallow, near surface, high grade mineralization shown in these results reduces the amount of potential overburden in an open pit operation and greatly enhances the economics of mine production.

A total of 23 samples were collected from an area of 600 x 400m in surface zone of quartz mineralization. These samples averaged 22.75 g/t Au with the highest sample being 146.19 g/t Au. A total of 7 samples ran above 10 g/t Au in quartz reefs that average 2.5m in thickness with a low plunge to the south west.

A total of 60 holes have now been completed in the first phase of the drilling program. A total of 69 drill holes are now planned for this drilling phase. Drill results received to date range up to 19.64 g/t Au over 1.0 m located in the Quartz Blow area. Additional drill results to follow as we await upcoming assay results from the lab.

Highlights

- 11092 assay results show 114.64 g/t Au over 1.0 m

- 11093 assay results show 110.65 g/t Au over 1.0 m

- 11094 assay results show 146.19 g/t Au over 1.0 m

- TOV037 assay results show 19.64 g/t Au over 1.0 m at surface from 0 to 1.0m depth

- TOV 033 assay results show 1.2 g/t Au over 5.5 m at surface from 0 to 5.5m depth

- TOV 014 assay results show 1.68 g/t Au over 2.0 m at surface from 1.0 to 3.0m depth

Quartz sulphide veining continues to be located along the thrust plane between the granites and diorite bodies. This extensive system has now demonstrated it contains gold over more than 1.5km of the thrust extent and can be located for up to 500m away from this fluid channel.

Results of the drilling and sampling program confirm that a resource exists very close to the surface. A total of 76 pits from local partisans have been excavated down to 3m for extraction of the gold bearing quartz during the past 4 years. This has allowed us access to the full vertical extent of the quartz lodes and conduct meaningful channel samples across the lodes.

A second stage drill program will investigate the feeder zones for the mineralization along the thrust faults in order to explore for wider intercepts and thus greatly enhance the reserves of the project. This second stage program will commence later in October once all the results from the first stage program have all been received, tabulated and mapped. The immediate, first stage program for Garrison International has been to evaluate the high grade results received in the top 3 metres of the surface to outline and calculate resources suitable for a production facility and to prove up the potential for Boroo style mineralization. The Boroo mine, located in northern Mongolia, is currently producing in excess of 250,000 oz. Au per year in an open pit mining operation.

It is anticipated that by commencement of winter that sufficient work will have been completed to outline this near surface resource to allow for mine planning and development next spring.

Drilling and sampling was undertaken under strict NI43-101 guidelines, supervised by Mr. Tony Bainbridge B.Sc. Ausimm, AIG, a Qualified Person under Canadian Securities guidelines. The references and comparisons to the Boroo mine located in northern Mongolia come from the May 13, 2004 NI43-101 technical report which was obtained from publicly available information. The similarities in structural geology between the Tovshiir property and the Boroo mine which has been referred to in this and previous press releases have been drawn from information obtained from this document and other publicly available information.
