Gemini Corporation Appoints Vice President of Field Services and Vice President of Engineering

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 11, 2007) - Gemini Corporation (TSX VENTURE:GKX) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Blair Harding as Vice President, Field Services and Mr. Pasquale Martino as Vice President, Engineering.

Mr. Harding has been with Gemini for 4 years initially as General Manager of the fabrication division and most recently as Manager of Field Services. His responsibilities will encompass all aspects of the Corporation's Kinetic Projects business unit, including fabrication, construction and maintenance services. He has over twenty years of field service experience both domestically and internationally. Blair's management expertise will provide the guidance necessary to successfully execute Gemini's previously announced plan to significantly expand its field service offering within the Alberta Heartland.

The Corporation has set aggressive growth goals for the field services division and with its planned addition to the infrastructure in Fort Saskatchewan expect this segment of our operations to grow and add significant value to the company. The continued demand for quality field and fabrication services especially in the heavy oil and petrochemical industries will fuel the planned growth.

Mr. Martino recently joined Gemini to assume this newly created position. He will be responsible for the Corporation's engineering operations, including Gemini Engineering, GEM Production Management and GenSolutions. As a professional engineer with twenty-five years of increasing responsibility and experience in a variety of industries, he will provide the necessary leadership to profitably expand Gemini's engineering services with new clients and within new markets. Over the past ten years, Pasquale has been involved in the heavy oil SAGD and power generation markets, both of which are key targets for the Corporation. Prior to joining Gemini, Pasquale was a senior member of a major engineering firm that successfully grew its business several fold over a short period of time.

Together, Blair and Pasquale will combine their resources to pursue and secure additional full service projects. Industry interest in having a single source service provider continues to increase and Gemini has the service breadth to take advantage of these opportunities.

"These appointments reflect the Corporation's focus on adding the resource depth necessary to successfully manage our continuing growth", said Carl Johnson, Gemini's President and CEO. "We have an aggressive strategic plan to profitably expand both the field service and engineering segments of our business over the next few years. It is essential that we have focused leadership within each segment to optimize our profitability as we leverage the infrastructure we have established."
