General Motors Contracts Quorum to Develop New Dealer System Integration

Five New Projects Highlight the GM IDMS Program

DETROIT, MICHIGAN--(Marketwire - Dec. 6, 2007) - Quorum Information Technologies (US), Inc. (Quorum) (TSX VENTURE:QIS) announced today that it has received five change orders from General Motors under its GM IDMS contract to build business to business integration points into its dealership management system.

Under the IDMS agreement, GM and Quorum work together to bring value-added integration between the auto manufacturer and the systems that GM's dealers use. The companies jointly agree to the project deliverables and time tables. Most recently, GM has initiated five new integration projects to help its dealerships improve efficiency and increase customer responsiveness as follows:

1. Customer Delivery Record (CDR) - automated delivery reporting eliminates the requirement to data enter all the details on every vehicle sale into a separate GM application.

2. Parts Information and Parts Availability - real-time access to the most current parts data including; supersession, pricing and parts availability.

3. Vehicle Invoicing - electronic vehicle invoicing eliminates the need to data enter and store paper copies of every GM vehicle invoice.

4. Parts Ordering - improved parts ordering process ensures more efficient tracking of parts shipments and reconciling of parts invoices.

5. Global Warranty - more streamlined warranty submission and management process to simplify the claim submission process and reduce warranty claim rejects.

"These new integration projects are clear examples of the intent of the GM IDMS program in action. Quorum is proud to be a part of GM's initiative to bring added value to its dealers through the efficiencies and increased customer satisfaction that these projects can realize," commented Maury Marks, Quorum's president and CEO. "This is just the start because there are a number of additional, exciting integration projects in the planning stages. It is very encouraging to see GM's plans coming to fruition." Marks concluded.

Marty Raymond, GM's Global Business Leader for the GM's dealer systems initiatives added that "Quorum has continued to demonstrate the qualities that led us to select them as an IDMS provider to North American GM dealerships. This is a company that really understands how technology can be applied to derive true business value. We look forward to working with Quorum on these projects as well as the continued innovation we have planned for the coming year."
