GlobalFit Ranks to First-Ever List of the 5,000 Fastest-Growing Businesses

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - October 12, 2007) - GlobalFit, the nation's leading provider of healthy living benefits, ranked recently to the first-ever Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the country.

The Inc. 5,000, an extension of Inc. magazine's annual Inc. 500 list, catches many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc. 500, as well as a host of smaller firms. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy. "The Inc. 5,000 provides the most comprehensive look ever at the most important part of the economy -- the entrepreneurial part," said Inc. 5,000 Project Manager Jim Melloan.

For GlobalFit President and CEO Frank Napolitano, that makes his company's appearance on the inaugural list quite fitting. "GlobalFit was founded well ahead of the current trends in employee wellness," said Napolitano, "and it's precisely that vision that lies at the heart of the entrepreneurial enterprise."

GlobalFit ranked 2,519 overall and 71 for the Philadelphia Metro region, including Wilmington and Southern New Jersey. Additionally, GlobalFit ranked in the top 100 for Pennsylvania and in the top 10 of that state's Business Services category.

But Napolitano noted that GlobalFit's unique niche makes for a difficult fit with standard industry categories. "'Business services' is just one angle on what we do," Napolitano stated. "We not only service businesses by providing the nation's premier healthy living benefit. We also supply their employees and members, our end users, with the inspiration and the affordability to start living better and feeling better."

"We see our role as one of preventative maintenance," Napolitano continued. "We know that with GlobalFit's comprehensive suite of fitness, weight loss and behavior management programs, Americans can become measurably healthier."

The 2007 Inc. 5,000, as revealed online at www.inc.com, reported median revenue of $9.4 million and median three-year growth of 140 percent.
