Goodman Marketing Partners Named One of BtoB Magazine's Best 2009 for TANDBERG Campaign

SAN RAFAEL, CA--(Marketwire - November 16, 2009) - Goodman Marketing Partners (GMP), a full service direct marketing company, announced today it has been selected as runner-up in the "Best Creative Direct Mail: Multiple" category for its work for global video conferencing provider TANDBERG. BtoB's Best for 2009 features the magazine's editors' top choices of best marketers and creative in B-to-B marketing for the past year.

GMP's fully integrated marketing effort titled "TANDBERG Disruption Campaign" targeted C-level executives at companies in health care, utilities, financial services and manufacturing sectors. It was designed to demonstrate how video conferencing solutions could decrease travel costs and improve employee productivity through a 4-part direct mail series, online media, and a guaranteed lead program.

In one initiative titled "The Journal," executives received a faux personal diary of one of their employees, purportedly found in the seatback pocket of an airplane. It contained a myriad of receipts, scribbled reminders and a daily journal of a day-in-the-life of a harried business traveler. The campaign made the point that using TANDBERG high-definition video conferencing would eliminate this employee's need for travel while increasing his or her job satisfaction and performance level.
