'Green' Does Not Mean That Office Stationery Has Become Totally Redundant

QUEDGELEY, GLOUCESTER, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Nov. 30, 2009) - Can offices really be paper free if they are to run efficiently and effectively? The reduction in office stationery like paper which is wasted by offices has to be a positive way not only to help save the planet, which, if adopted by offices on a global scale would help save deforestation and help save the planet, but would also reduce the amount of wastage, saving invaluable pounds on annual office stationery supplies expenditure.

A survey by Tickbox.net/Opinion Matters found that on a regular basis 22% of people at work admitted to putting recyclable items into a non-recycling bin, a further 21% print out email where there was no real need and 13% admitted to leaving work without switching their computer off properly.

AOS Online are actively promoting the 'going green at work' campaign by offering many lines of stationery which are recyclable, along with an extensive range of office furniture which is produced using both recycled and recyclable components, offering their customers the opportunity to make informed choices when ordering their office furniture and stationery supplies this Christmas.

Looking at their website AOS Online have an extensive mixture of products showing that in order for offices to run efficiently they need to be well organised if they are to be productive. AOS Online has embraced the current and emerging trends within the office environment to ensure their ranges meet consumer demands head-on.

Astute office managers and business realise that messy offices can lead to low morale, lack of motivation and general lackadaisical mindset. Any one or a mixture of all will do little to help their business keep its head above water, more especially within Britain's current economic climate. Even if you have an office environment which is working towards being 'green' there are numerous different stationery supplies which are still required for an office and business to work and run effectively.

Appreciating that modern technologies and digital ways of working may be helping to save the planet by reducing the amount of paper which is generated, AOS Online recognise that printers are still used to send invoices to clients by the majority of businesses, therefore printer inks and toners will be required, businesses can work towards 'going green' by purchasing remanufactured cartridges.

AOS Online are proud to display the 'recycled and environmentally friendly products' logo on their home page in order to promote businesses to 'go green' cost effectively across a wide range of their stationery supplies. When the use for paper can't be avoided, use recycled paper and envelopes that have been processed and coloured using eco-friendly methods will at least be a step in the right direction.

Whichever way you look at it office stationery supplies are as much in modern office and business environments as ever before, just because the paperless environment may be the latest in-trend does not mean that paper and accompanying stationery will never be used again! It merely means that offices will run a tighter ship and reduce wastage everywhere they can if they want to say that they are truly striving towards the ethos of the 'going green at work' campaign.
