Greenstone's Biotech Dry Kiln Test Demonstrates That It Is 1000% More Efficient and Greener Than Conventional Technology

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 9, 2008) - Greenstone Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GSHN) announced today that the results of a test conducted by an end-user customer in Japan, which dried over forty white oak boards containing an average of 80% moisture content which, when dried by the unique kiln, GREEN-DRI™ BDK-3000, reduced the moisture in the board down to the 20% level in only two weeks. Using conventional methods presently available this result would have taken several months to accomplish and would have consumed as much as 100 times more energy. This result was achieved by the use of Green-Dri's unique wood drying process patented in Japan by the manufacturer, Nippon Funen Mokuzai Co. Ltd. Greenstone distributes Green-Dri dry kiln exclusively in the United States.

Mr. Toshio Ito, the inventor and President of the manufacturer of Green-Dri, Nippon Funen Mokuzai Co. Ltd in Tokyo said, "Green-Dri is so innovative that the wood drying industry experts are skeptical until they see the actual result. A conventional dry kiln uses very high temperatures, some as high as 500 degrees F, and energy consuming high power fans to blow the air around, whereas our kiln does not go over 110 degrees F and we have only tiny fans circulating the air, but it dries wood much more efficiently and faster without damaging the wood cells. The resulting dried wood is much higher quality, stronger, and more beautiful."
