Greyhound Unveils Over $60,000 Worth of Prizes and
Scholarships as Part of its Annual "Travel is
Educational, Too!" Program

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 3, 2005) - Greyhound Canada today
unveiled over $60,000 worth of prizes and scholarships as part of its
annual "Travel is Educational, Too!" program. The prizes will be
distributed among 50 graduating high school students in a draw on May
11, 2005.

Fifty students will each win a prize package worth more than $1,000. Ten
of those students will receive scholarships between $500 and $2,500. To
be eligible, students must have an average of 80 per cent or more and
live in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia or
the Yukon. Qualifying entrants whose names are not drawn will receive a
$20 Greyhound Travel Voucher.

"Travel is Educational, Too!" offers students the opportunity to enhance
their education through travel," said Cindy Newbergher, supervisor of
marketing, Greyhound Canada. "It's an easy and stress-free way for
students to enter to win. Students simply drop off their spring
transcripts at their local Greyhound depot."

"The response and support we've had from counsellors, parents and
Ministers of Education for this program, now in its ninth year, has been
overwhelming," added Newbergher.

The prize package includes two 30-day travel passes valued at more than
$1,000 from Greyhound Canada, two overnight stays courtesy of Hostelling
International Canada and a $50 gift certificate from Travel CUTS.
Loyalty Management Group Canada Inc. will award a total of 2,500 AIR
