HE-5 Resources, Corp. Announces Acquisition Growth Strategy

Company Will Commence Phase 2 of Drilling Program at Overman Property

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 8, 2008) - HE-5 Resources, Corp. (PINKSHEETS: HRRN) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a multi-million dollar acquisition program involving the purchase of other mining companies and/or vast mining properties in Nevada and California. The Company is pursuing an aggressive growth via acquisition strategy in order to expand its mineral reserve and resource portfolio and maximize shareholder value.

HE-5 also re-iterated its commitment to the exploration and development of the Overman Property. Phase 2 of the Drilling Program at the Overman Property is scheduled to commence in short order, after the snow has melted on the Property. This Phase consists of the extraction and testing of ore samples from 36 drill holes on the floor of the Overman pit. The Drilling program and sampling protocol are under the direction and oversight of Mr. Paul Pelke, Resident Geologist. This Phase will be divided in two stages and will determine the southwest and northeast limits of mineralization and the lower limits of mineralization in the immediate area of the Overman pit floor. The primary objective is to upgrade the resource to measured status of over a few million tons.
