HITEC 2010 Showcases Technologies That Can Improve Business Profitability
AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - February 5, 2010) - Hospitality technology products and solutions
are all in one location at the 2010 Hospitality Industry Technology
Exposition and Conference (HITEC®). The conference and exhibition
provides easy access to vendors and experts. Qualified buyers can take
advantage of this smart business opportunity with complimentary exhibit
hall passes. HITEC 2010, a service of Hospitality Financial and Technology
Professionals (HFTP®), is the world's largest hospitality technology
exposition and conference, with an approximately 150,000 square foot
exhibit hall. It is June 21-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in
Orlando, Fla.
"HITEC is all about how technology can improve the profitability of a
business in hospitality," said Cheryl McGinty, partner marketing manager
for TeleAdapt, Inc., 2010 HITEC exhibitor. "HITEC provides a forum for new
ideas to be shared and a place where new hospitality technologies are
presented to the industry in a meaningful way, which is why you will find
TeleAdapt at the show every year."
"The beauty of HITEC is that you can find and compare hospitality
technology products and solutions in real time," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO
of HFTP. "If you are looking at a demo and your sales contact explains that
no other product has a specific feature, you can easily walk around the
exhibit hall and check with their competitor. That's not something you can
do back at your office."
Qualified buyers are eligible for a complimentary exhibit hall pass.
Qualified buyers include professionals employed by hotels, resorts, casinos
and clubs. The deadline to submit the online registration form for approval
is May 14. All complimentary registrations are subject to approval by HFTP.
HITEC 2010 offers attendees a one-stop shop for essential education, access
to experts and hospitality technology vendors, networking with top leaders
in the industry and the resources to find cost-effective ways to improve
company bottom lines. This year's exhibit hall also features the newest
version of GUESTROOM 20X, a special exhibit showcasing the most innovative
technologies for the guestroom.
HFTP, founded in 1952, is the global professional association for financial
and technology personnel working in hotels, clubs and other
hospitality-related businesses. HFTP provides first class educational
opportunities to more than 4,800 members globally, including the premiere
hospitality technology conference HITEC. HFTP also awards the certification
for the Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE) and the Certified
Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP) designations.
