HP Introduces New TouchSmart IQ775 PC in Time for Holidays

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - October 31, 2007) - HP is introducing the HP TouchSmart IQ775 PC, an updated all-in-one touchscreen PC that will be available for purchase in time for the holidays. The HP TouchSmart IQ775 PC features an interactive touchscreen interface that offers consumers quick and easy access to basic computing functionality and additional features for a fun and engaging experience.

Designed to enable "walk-up" computing in social areas of the home, it fits wherever life happens: in the kitchen, family room or living room. This generation of the TouchSmart PC adds the ability to record video notes, faster processors and updated HP SmartCenter software.

The unique 19-inch diagonal LCD adjustable display makes it easy for users to check the weather, edit and view photos, manage the family schedule, access favorite websites or watch a favorite recorded or live TV show.

Users can employ multiple methods of communication with the TouchSmart IQ775 PC: leave handwritten notes on the screen, create video notes for playback or quickly edit and share photos. HP SmartCenter provides one-button access to a customizable page of quick links and favorite applications, including HP SmartCalendar, which allows users to quickly and easily maintain the family's schedule and manage events.
